The FOMO is going to be real at the end of August.
A limited amount of tickets for Electric Picnic went on sale on Thursday morning, and naturally, they sold out in a matter of minutes.
They went on sale via the 3Plus app on Thursday, and those who had their fingers at the ready nabbed them the second they could.
This year’s festival had will see an increase in capacity of 2,500 people, bringing the overall capacity to 57,500, we’re sure it’s going to be a special one.
Over 40 new names were recently added to the lineup, including J Hus, Gerry Cinnamon, Charli XCX and Johnny Marr.
Add that to names such as Hozier, Dermot Kennedy, Florence and the Machine and Billie Eilish and we reckon it’s going to be a fairly special occasion.
Disappointed fans took to social media to voice their frustration about how quickly the tickets sold out:
Can’t believe I woke up this fucking early to try and get an electric picnic ticket for them to sell out the second the site went live such a poxey JOKE turning my phone off for the whole weekend cya
