Garth Brooks says he’s willing to fly to Ireland this weekend to meet Enda Kenny in order to play five shows at Croke Park.
The singer still refuses to cancel two of his five shows and hopes to see a solution found between Aiken Promotions, Dublin City Council and the Irish Government.

“If we could pick one place on the planet to show the world what was coming, Ireland was the pick. I don’t think you can talk about a situation with Ireland until the situation is fixed,” he said when asked by RTÉ’s Caitriona Perry whether or not he – and other major acts – could stage massive shows in Ireland in the future.
“I’m the real loser in this one.”
Reports had broken that Brooks could play three shows at the end of July and then return at the end of his world tour to do the two cancelled shows at GAA Headquarters, but he seemed to rule this out due to the scale of the shows that he would be putting on.
Brooks was speaking at a press conference to announce a new deal with Sony Music.
Sad about Garth? You’re “not one billionth as sad” as Garth. He’s the “big loser” in all of this #garthbrooks
