Unlike the thin-spread vocals employed by many indie singers du jours, Wallis' powerful voice is a rousing breath of fresh air - and allows her to channel legends like Aretha Franklin, as she demonstrated to JOE Sessions with her flawless cover of classic (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.
In addition, Wallis also performed an a cappella version of her single Home - the lead single from her new album of the same name, which goes on global release on September 30.
