The best of the live music around our island

Who: Hermitage Green
Date: December 28th
Where: Dolan’s, Limerick

Quickly developing cult-like status, Hermitage Green return to their roots in Limerick tonight for a gig at the superb Dolan’s.

Always a brilliant act to catch live, this should be a very special gig.

Who: Something Happens
Date: December 29th
Where: Whelan’s, Dublin

We are massive fans of legendary Dublin band, Something Happens. Tom Dunne is one of the greatest human beings breathing today and he leads from the front.

This gig in Whelan’s should be packed to the rafters. We’ll see you at the front!

Who: Le Galaxie
Date: December 30th
Where: Roisin Dubh, Galway

Le Galaxie are a phenomenal live act. There is a reason they are booked for any credible music festival going.

They travel out west on the 30th for what promises to be a stomper of a show in the legendary Roisin Dubh. There is no show like a Le Galaxie show.

Who: Damien Dempsey & Imelda May
Date: December 31st
Where: INEC, Killarney

What better way to ring in the new year than be at a gig featuring two of Ireland’s best live performers.

The INEC should be packed to its considerable rafters for this gig.

Where: The Stables, Navan, Co Meath

One of our greatest singer/song writers, Declan O’Rourke is rarely anything less than spell-binding when caught live.
