Believe it or not, Mark McCabe is only 37-years-old and was only a baby when he released the unbelievable Maniac 2000 which still continues to fill our airways, reminding us of some sweaty teenage discos.
Mark has never shied away from the Irish music industry though and he has released numerous tracks under various names and is signed to both Universal Music and Twisted NY.
He has been a creator and editor of RTE’s digital stations 2xm and Pulse and later became head of music at RTÉ 2fm. Therefore, he knows a thing or two about really good music.
His remix of Cities, Give It Up, is another absolutely fantastic tune from the DJ and from the very first note, you can tell that it is a McCabe masterpiece.
This song will be one that you can blare out on your way to a festival and who knows if you’re heading to Sea Lounge on 21 July, you might even catch McCabe playing it in the flesh himself.
