It’s been far too long.
Justin Bieber last released an album all the way back in 2015, and let’s be honest, it was a bit of a banger.
Purpose was nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammys, and it had some absolutely amazing songs on it. We’re still blasting ‘What Do You Mean?’ on repeat.
The days of Bieber being a bit of a laughing stock in the music scene are long behind us, and it’s gotten to the point that we are genuinely excited at the thought of new music from the Canadian superstar.
And it’s starting to look like we won’t have to wait too long until we get some new songs from the Biebs.
His manager Scooter Braun (who is friends with Robbie Keane, randomly enough), posted a cryptic tweet on Saturday that has Beliebers all over the world pretty excited for the next 12 months.
Bieber himself tweeted: “2019 is gonna be a wild one. I just feel it.”, to which Braun replied “JB5!?”, along with some excited emojis.
Fans immediately assumed that his meant that Bieber’s fifth studio album was on the way, and the fact that Scooter Braun deleted the tweet only added fuel to the fire…
But don’t worry, we managed to nab a screenshot just in time.
Nothing has been confirmed just yet, but we know that if JB5 is released this year, we certainly won’t be complaining.
