The Killers did an incredible cover of Whole of the Moon at their Dublin gig and that’s not all

Killers Dublin

They also invited a randomer on stage to play drums. Some gig.

After delivering a storming set at the Isle of Wight Festival, The Killers brought a little bit of Las Vegas to Dublin as their tour landed in the RDS.

In fact, their setup was so loud that people as far as Kilmainham, Crumlin, Rathfarnham and even Clondalkin were saying that they could hear Brandon Flowers and co in their front room!

Mmm, maybe the good weather is having some sort of acoustic abnormality but anyways, it appears that the majority of Dublin got a free gig.

Happy days if you’re a fan of the band.

One fan that actually had to do some work though was a man named Danny Ross because he was plucked from the crowd to play drums with the band on their track For Reasons Unknown- as you can see below.

We wonder if Ronnie Vannucci will be slightly worried that his place is under threat?!

Anyways, it appeared that Danny had the time of his life as he posed for a snap with Flowers.

Aside from their regular hits, the band also threw in a cover of an absolute Irish classic – well, a classic from the Scottish/Irish folk band, The Waterboys.

Good weather, great tunes, an amazing cover song.

Does anyone else not regret buying a ticket?
