Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters, Green Day and Alt-J are all at a 3 day festival that’s very cheap

Fancy heading along?

It might be snowing in Ireland but we’re already looking forward to a summer that’s filled with some sun, tunes and drinks.

Santa will be making his list and checking it twice in the coming weeks, and if you’re a music fan that’s still undecided about what to ask him then one of Europe’s biggest and newest festivals might just be the thing for you.

We already told you about Radiohead and Foo Fighters playing at Opener, Gdynia, but a relatively new festival in Spain can definitely rival it in terms of providing value for money.

Mad Cool festival takes place at La Caja Magica, Madrid from 6-8 July 2017 and they’ve just announced the first acts on their lineup.

Kings Of Leon, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Alt-J, Belle & Sebastian and Wolf Alice will be on the billing and a 3 day ticket only costs €145. More acts will be added in the next few weeks.

Yet again, it’s likely that you’ll gravitate towards a festival that speaks to your own musical tastes and interests, but with so many major rock bands playing in a gorgeous part of Spain, Mad Cool looks like excellent value for money.

With all these recent concert updates, could we be seeing some of these bands announce an Irish date in the near future also?

Then again, if you fancy some sun, cerveza and songs – a trip to Madrid in July might be preferential over the Irish rain.
