LCD Soundsystem guitarist Al Doyle was less than impressed by Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, who met the band backstage after their performance at the Olympia Theatre on Friday night. While those of us who weren't lucky enough to get a ticket were stuck inside with a takeaway and the absolute charmer that is Domhnall Gleeson, James Murphy, Doyle et al were putting on another hell of a show for their Irish fans. Varadkar was in attendance but his foray into the inner sanctum of the backstage area didn't quite go as he might have wished.
