Lewis Capaldi announces Dublin headline show

Dave Hanratty

Lewis Capaldi 3Arena Dublin

The rising singer-songwriter returns.

Scottish troubadour Lewis Capaldi is enjoying something of a love affair with Ireland.

His most recent trip to the capital saw him put on an impromptu pub gig for fans after Bastille were forced to cancel their planned headliner due to adverse weather conditions.

The results looked like pretty great craic, and certainly did Capaldi’s cult hero status no harm.

JOE knows from experience just how sound the guy is, having sat down with him for a lengthy chat just a little while ago – you can read that right here.

So it’s pretty decent news of a Monday morning, then, to discover that he will headline Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on Thursday 21 November.

Tickets priced from €26.50 including booking fee go on sale this Friday 22 February at 10am via Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide.

Pre-sale tickets will be available on Wednesday 20 February at 10am.

And if you absolutely can’t wait until then, you’ll get the chance to see Capaldi in action when he opens for Picture This during their upcoming five-night 3Arena residency, or you can catch him at this year’s Indiependence bash in Cork.

Busy boy.
