On Sunday, Bastille had been set to play in Dublin's Olympia Theatre but the group were forced to cancel their gig as their gear had not made it to Dublin due to the weather.
Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi (who JOE was lucky enough to chat to quite recently) was due to be opening for them at their gig, but found himself at something of a loose end in the capital on Sunday with the cancellation of the gig.
His solution was to put out a call on Instagram and rock up to The Bleeding Horse pub in Dublin and perform for the large crowd who showed up to see him.
And the people who attended weren't disappointed as the singer put on a hell of a show.
But don't be disappointed if you didn't get to catch the intimate gig on Sunday night; Capaldi will be back to open for Picture This during their five night run in the 3Arena in March.
Cheers to Stuart Hayes for sending this our way.Got a story for JOE? You can get in contact with us here.
