Irish cinemas to screen premiere of Liam Gallagher documentary and live performance

Liam Gallagher documentary

As It Was arrives next month.

The new Liam Gallagher documentary, As It Was, is very much a love letter to the hardcores.

Directed by Charlie Lightening and Gavin Fitzgerald, the film presents an all-access, no-holds-barred look at Liam as he looks to leave both Oasis and Beady Eye behind and begin again.

He takes aim at critics, at pre-written tabloid headlines, at those waiting for him to die a clichéd rock star death that will satisfy the narrative.

As It Was hits Irish cinemas on Friday 7 June, though the world premiere takes place the night before, with both the film’s bow and an exclusive live performance beamed via satellite into cinemas across Ireland for one night only.
