Love Sensation announce that Gossip will no longer perform on Sunday due to injury

Both Gossip and Love Sensation have apologised to fans.
Three years after their split, American dance-punk band Gossip, fronted by the Beth Ditto, have reformed to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their hit album, Music For Men and were due to play at Love Sensation Festival on Sunday. However, due to an injury suffered to lead singer Ditto, they will not perform this evening. LE BOOM will now replace them. A statement released on Sunday read: "Gossip and Love Sensation Festival are sorry to announce that after an accident on the way to the airport today where she received a shoulder injury from a fall, lead singer Beth Ditto is unable to perform tonight on the advice of her doctors. "Gossip would sincerely like to apologise to their many fans who were coming to the festival for any disappointment and inconvenience caused. "Love Sensation are delighted to announce that good friends of Mother, Irish electronic pop duo, LE BOOM will now take to the main stage at 19.45."Explore more on these topics:
