McFly reunion

2019 is going to be a great year for boybands.

All the way back in 2018, news broke that Westlife would be coming back for a reunion tour, as well as a brand new album.

And while we’re happy to admit that was probably the best news we’ve heard in around 10 years, this isn’t too far off.

The iconic boyband from the noughties McFly have announced that they will be making a comeback in 2019.

Speaking on the Sappenin’ Podcast With Sean Smith, Dougie Poynter had this to say:

“McFly will at least start writing by the summer and I can’t wait. I love that band and I love the guys. It’s awesome. We decided to take some time off after we did McBusted because it was a two-year tour and there was naturally some other things everyone wanted to do.

“It actually worked out really well because all the other guys had kids in that time, so they’ve all been home for their kids.”

We can only assume that this means they will be playing at least one gig in Ireland at some stage…

We’re excited already.

And we’ll use any excuse to listen to this banger again.
