Mumford and sons

They’ve a new album too. Time for fans to get excited.

Sigh no more Mumford and Sons fans because the Grammy Award-winning band will be returning to Ireland very soon and if that’s not enough good news, they’ve also announced details about their new album.

As stated on their website, fans that pre-order Mumford & Sons’ new album ‘Delta’ by 8 October will also be given the chance to purchase tickets for the UK, Ireland and European legs of the Delta Tour 2018/2019.

The album will be made available on a wider release on 16 November.

At present, the specific dates for those gigs haven’t been announced – they’re set to be revealed on October 4 – but as you can see in the image below, Ireland is on their tour schedule.

In fact, the Ivor Novello Award-winners have also released a new track, Guiding Light, as the first song off their new album.

The band were last on tour in 2015/16 as part of their Wilder Mind Tour and in recent years, they’ve played the 3 Arena,  Odyssey Arena, Phoenix Park, and Longitude to name just a few.

While the details are vague, keep an eye on their website for further details about date, venue and cost.

Here’s a taste of the new material that they’ll be playing on the road.
