Noel Gallagher’s first book is on the way

Oasis fans. Get this on the Christmas list now.

Noel Gallagher is an extremely interesting man.

You have to be a certain type of person to describe your brother by saying: “He’s rude, arrogant, intimidating and lazy. He’s the angriest man you’ll ever meet. He’s like a man with a fork in a world of soup.”

So a full book by the man is something that plenty of people would look forward to.

Any Road Will Get Us There (If We Don’t Know Where We’re Going) will be published on 1 November, so you don’t even have that long to wait.

The book will tell the story of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, their biggest world tour – and the making of his album Who Built the Moon?

It will contain hundreds of exclusive pictures from his world tour, with the entire thing curated by Gallagher himself.

Stories in the book include trips to Ireland, USA and Southeast Asia, as well as candid interviews and anecdotes from the Manchester man.

Kelly Ellis, the publishing director for Bonnier Books UK, had this to say: “This is the book that fans have been waiting a long time for – the first and only official book from Noel Gallagher.

“It has been a phenomenal year for Noel and the magic of it all has been captured beautifully by Sharon. It’s an intimate insight into life on the road for one of the world’s biggest artists.

The band clearly had a lot of fun and I know fans will too when they read it. It’s a real passion project for everyone involved and I couldn’t be more excited.”
