As part of Whelan’s 25th Anniversary celebrations, Paddy Casey has just announced a special intimate gig on Friday 12th Sept.

Casey has built up a solid reputation as a live performer since releasing his debut album Amen (So Be It) in 1999, while his second release Living became the biggest seller in Ireland at the time.

After a five year hiatus, the Dubliner returned with his fourth album The Secret Life Of on November 9th 2012.

Tickets are €15 and are available now.

Elsewhere, New York rockers Interpol have announced a date at the Olympia on February 10th. The band will release their brand new, fifth studio album El Pintor in Ireland on September 5  and fans won’t have long to wait to see it played live.

Tickets for this one are €39.05 and are available from Friday via ticketmaster.

JOE are big fans of the Paul Banks led band and their live shows are not to be missed.
