Hey, here’s Snoop Dogg covering the Peaky Blinders theme song

Peaky Blinders Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg x Nick Cave, what a time to be alive.

Peaky Blinders is over. Probably not forever, even if that finale felt fairly definitive.

Though no official announcement has been made by the BBC, we 100% expect Tommy Shelby to return, not least because director Anthony Byrne has signed on for a sixth season, which looks set to begin filming in early 2020.

In the meantime, the spirit of the Shelbys is kept alive in the form of, er, Snoop Dogg.

That’s right, the legendary rapper has given us all the strange gift that we never knew we needed or wanted in our lives; a cover of the Peaky Blinders theme song.

Said theme, of course, came from the pen of the brilliant Nick Cave long ago, and for some, ‘Red Right Hand’ might even bring Wes Craven’s classic horror Scream to mind before Cillian Murphy and company.

In any event, it’s an absolute belter of a tune. As for the Snoop version?

Well, your mileage may vary. Check it out below…
