Biebs knows a beautiful landmark when he sees one.
On Sunday night, Justin Bieber performed a couple of songs at the Billboard Awards, where he took home a couple of gongs, including one for Top Male artist.
Viewers noticed that Bieber wasn’t exactly on top of his game and he didn’t say much during his acceptance speech either.
After posting a couple of pictures on Instagram of him performing at the awards and receiving an award from Jessica Alba, he then went onto explain why he wasn’t in the best of form and it’s to do with his attitude towards award shows in general.
Which is all well and good but what we’re more interested in is why he accompanied the explanation with a picture of the beautiful Rock of Cashel, which manages to look pretty eerie due to the dark clouds overhead, even with the presence of a few sheep in the foreground.
Indeed, the fact that the picture used by Bieber is one of the first that comes up when you search for the Rock of Cashel in Google Images would seem to indicate that he searched for it specifically.
Bieber’s connection with Ireland has been well-established after he offered his congratulations to Robbie Keane following Ireland’s victory over Germany late last year, but we’re not sure about the connection with one of the country’s most famous landmarks.
Love to my brother Keano and the Irish squad on a big win today. Got this vid of them listening to #WhatDoYouMean after the win. Love it.
