Ilenkus hail from Galway and specialise in making some quite beautiful noise indeed. The energetic - seriously, catch them live when and where you can - five-piece have earned comparisons to the likes of Converge, which is no mean feat. Brutal, fast, aggressive and terrifically shouty fare is on the menu here, and brand new standalone single 'Myopic' follows the thread quite majestically in that department. All bluster aside, this one is just really damn good, guys. Don't come at me with 'guitar music is dead' when these lads are out there screaming into the void.
