Spotify unveils 'New Éire' playlist celebrating black, urban and street artists

Irish music is in a seriously good place right now.

And that's reflected in the arrival of an official Spotify playlist specially curated to highlight the very best in Ireland's black, urban and street music.

Spotify Senior Editor Austin Darbo unveiled the 49-track collection on Friday, with the likes of Soulé - who JOE caught up with earlier this month - Jafaris, Mango x Math Man, Hare Squead, Super Silly, Wyvern Lingo and the Choice Prize-winning Rusangano Family among those flying the flag.

As Darbo notes above, Ireland has firmly established itself as a major player when it comes to a strong and sharp multicultural sound, and this latest addition from the green-tinted streaming giant stands tall as a reflection of a growing, passionate scene.
