WATCH: Stormzy’s live cover of Lewis Capaldi’s ‘Someone You Loved’ is incredible

Rudi Kinsella

It seems like only a matter of time until the two end up working on a song together.

Both Stormzy and Lewis Capaldi are at the peak of their powers at the minute.

The two of them completely stole the show at Glastonbury, with Stormzy’s performance acting as a moment in musical history, and Capaldi absolutely bodying Noel Gallagher with his entrance alone.

So yeah, the two lads are on top of their game.

Performing at the TRNSMT Festival in Glasglow on Friday night, Stormzy sat down and sang a cover of one of 2019’s biggest songs, and it was truly something to behold.

Despite having a few songs that he sings (quite well) on, Stormzy is not known for his melodic voice, which he addressed before he started banging out the song.

He said: “I’m not the greatest singer. I’m actually quite a shit singer, but I love to sing and I love to get in my car and listen to this song. Since we’re here, we’re gonna do it.”

The crowd absolutely loved it. Take a look here:

As you might imagine, Capaldi himself was a big fan of the rendition:

Two legends. Now we just want to know when the duet is coming out?
