Mastodon and Sepultura lead additions for next summer’s Sunstroke Festival

12 more acts will join the likes of Deftones, Faith No More and Gojira in Punchestown.

Alternative music festival Sunstroke is set for an almighty return some two-and-a-half decades later, with the recent announcement that the bash is set for a weekend event in Punchestown next June (Saturday 13 and Sunday 14).

Faith No More and Deftones were unveiled as headliners atop a pretty mouthwatering bill that also boasts the likes of Gojira, The Jesus and Mary Chain and Refused alongside homegrown talent such as Fangclub, Bitch Falcon and The Scratch.

As of Thursday evening, 12 more names have been added to the mix, with Mastodon and Sepultura topping the latest additions.

The Distillers (Saturday)

Fire From The Gods (Sunday)

Fields of the Nephilim (Saturday)

Kerbdog (Sunday)

Poppy (Sunday)

Sylosis (Sunday)

Dream State (Saturday)

Sleep Token (Sunday)

The Raven Age (Sunday)

Vukovi (Saturday)

Tickets for the two-day, three-stage festival are on sale now via Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide under the following tiers:

Day tickets: €79.50

Weekend tickets: €139.50

Weekend camping tickets: €169.50
