Taylor Swift has made headlines thanks to her attendance at an American football game.
This is down to the fact that she was personally invited by NFL superstar and tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs Travis Kelce.
Kelce’s team was playing the Chicago Bears on Sunday (24 Sunday) at Arrowhead Stadium and wound up trouncing their opponents 41-10.

As for Swift’s appearance at the game, it has its origins in comments made by the American footballer on the New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce, in July.
Travis said on the show he was a little upset that he did not get an opportunity to meet the pop star when he attended one of her Eras Tour concerts.
“I was a little butt hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” the Chiefs player stated.
“If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets handed out. I received a bunch of them, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it.”
Asked by his brother if he meant his phone number or the number on his jersey, he responded: “You know which one.”

“I think he wanted to get in the end zone just as much as all the Swifties wanted him to.”
Travis then doubled down on his efforts to meet the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer, revealing during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show last week that he invited the popstar to attend his team’s game against the Bears.
“I told her that I’ve seen her rock a stage in Arrowhead and she might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead,” he explained.
Swift was spotted at Sunday’s game sitting in a suite with Travis’ mother Donna, with a clip of the popstar celebrating Travis scoring a touchdown subsequently going viral.
This has sparked rumours that the singer and the footballer are dating, with the pair being photographed together after the game.
Speaking about Swift’s appearance at the match, Travis’ teammate Patrick Mahomes said: “[Travis] told me at the last minute.”
“Some things with Trav, he says it and you don’t know if it’s true or not, he says it so calmly,” he added – as reported by ESPN.
Mahomes also said he felt “a little pressure” to get a touchdown pass to Travis, so that he could impress Swift.
“I heard she was in the house. I knew I had to get it to Trav,” Mahomes explained.
“I think he wanted to get in the end zone just as much as all the Swifties wanted him to.”
