The Clockworks - The World Owes Me a Favour - July 7th
The Clockworks are a four piece band from Galway, Ireland. With sharp observations, blunt instruments and swaggering vigour, the band have the immediacy of The Strokes, the danceability of Stone Roses, the brio of The Libertines and the observation of The Smiths.
‘The World Owes Me a Favour’ is a fed-up, pissed off social commentary which "calls-out the 21st century for what it is; fixing its sights on crooked politicians, disenfranchised youths and our collective over-dependence on the media."
The Clockworks have drawn attention across Ireland and England, having previous tracks play-listed on 2FM as well as spins on countless regional Radio shows in Ireland, London, Manchester and online. Packed out gigs in London, Dublin, Cork and Galway have proven that they are a band in demand.
