Their planned Jimmy Fallon show residency has been postponed till another time.
U2 announced via their official website that they have had to postpone their week-long residency on the Jimmy Fallon Tonight Show as Bono has gone an injured himself.
The U2 front-man had a bike accident in Central Park in New York and injured his arm.
He will require surgery on his injured arm and is expected to be out of action for a couple of weeks.
He had only just landed in New York after recording the latest Band Aid version of Do They Know It’s Christmas? in London.
Maybe he was a bit jet-lagged, maybe he was staring at the sun and the bike was out of control, but whatever the reason, we would like to wish him a speedy recovery.
