Dublin rap outfit Versatile have been making headlines for a bit now, having gone from comic enfant terrible sensations to wildly problematic villains thanks to some exceedingly questionable lyrical content.
With a sold-out 3Arena gig on the horizon, Casper Walsh and Eskimo Supreme have linked up with apparent big fan Coolio, who makes quite the proclamation on new track ‘Escape Wagon’.
At the start of the song, the ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’ man draws parallels between Dublin’s Ringsend and the Los Angeles city of Compton, before really going for it at the end, hailing his new surroundings as “the Compton of Europe” – a bizarre feather in the cap for the locals.
