VIDEO: There was a brilliant sing song on a boat near the Spanish Arch in Galway

Alan Loughnane

The perfect way to spend your day in this lovely weather.

If you’ve ever been to Galway, you may have heard that the Spanish Arch is a great spot to on a sunny day to sit out and soak in some rays and have a few beverages. Non-alcoholic of course…

Understandably the place is packed these days as the often unpredictable weather has held up to provide us with a glorious weekend so far.

A common sight on shop street in Galway are the Galway Street Club, a group of buskers who provide entertainment, but in the sunny weather they decided that they needed a boat to share their music with people.

We know someone else who’d this idea…

200-105

With the help of Galway Bay Boat Tours, they sailed on the River Corrib playing tunes for the hundreds of people sitting long the shores.

It made for some great scenes…
