You’re never too old for rock ‘n’ roll…
Little is known about this rocking pensioner, but it’s safe to say she’s one seriously cool granny.
The woman was spotted playing the drums in the Coalition Drum Shop, Wisconsin, recently and an employee of the shop thought it was so unusual to hear someone half decent banging away on the skins that they thought they better record it. It was just a nice surprise that the drummer in question was an O.A.P.
Here’s what the Coalition Drum Shop says on YouTube: “We have no idea where this lady came from, what her name is, or where she went but she rocked our faces off!”
In case you’re wondering, “She’s playing a Gretsch Catalina Birch kit with a 5.5×14 Gretsch Brooklyn Snare and Zildjian cymbals”.
