There's a new rock star in town.

Jimmy Fallon was invited on stage at Madison Square Garden to sing 'Desire' with Bono and the lads and he did a pretty good job. The American presenter held up a sign at the show saying 'singer with broken finger' begging to be picked by the band and it worked. Jimmy got to join the boys on stage for a full song, with Bono videoing him on a phone that was being streamed live onto a big screen. The part-time musician had a great time getting into the music, even completing a Bono impression on stage, which was filmed by Bono himself. We don't have the original footage but here is some footage from the crowds; it looks like everyone had a great night.
