VIDEO: Irish duo’s stunning cover of one of 13 Reasons Why’s most pivotal songs

Tony Cuddihy

Great stuff from west of Ireland duo Crossing Paths.

Clodagh Murray from Leitrim and Oisín McCaffrey from Sligo are also known as Crossing Paths, and their cover of Lord Huron’s ‘The Night We Met’ is as good as they come.

Without giving anything away, the song is a very memorable part of 13 Reasons Why, the Netflix original show that has proved massively popular (and not a little controversial) over the last month.

This Tuesday, Crossing Paths will appear on The JOE Show and take on the Magic Cover, the search for Ireland’s best cover song.

Last week Katie Cassidy set the bar with her stunning version of ‘House of the Rising Sun’, so let’s see if Leitrim’s finest can rise to the challenge.

Tune in to The JOE Show, on the JOE Facebook page, with Paddy McKenna and Eoghan Doherty on Tuesday at 8.30pm to see Crossing Paths perform live.
