A lovely touch.
The BRIT awards took place in the O2 arena in London tonight and David Bowie was very much on the minds of those in attendance a little over a month on from his death at the age of 69.
Following on from Lady Gaga’s tribute at the Grammy Awards, Lorde took to the stage to perform with Bowie’s former touring band tonight and it was very well-received by those in attendance and the television audience alike.
After the band performed a medley of some of Bowie’s famous hits, Lorde finished off the tribute with a version of ‘Life on Mars’ that was very nicely done indeed.
