Video: Noel Gallagher curses his way through all of Oasis’ biggest hits

He enjoys a bit of salty language, does our kid.

He enjoys a bit of salty language, does our kid.

Watching Noel Gallagher eff and blind his way through the entire Oasis back catalogue is far more amusing than it has any right to be.

Needless to say, Liam comes in for a sound slagging off, but that’s nothing compared to his contempt for music video directors and the fact that all he and his bandmates ever managed to do was walk, and walk and play, and walk and look bored, and…

“I f**king hate videos, I hate everything about them,” he says.

“I hate the fact that they cost a fortune, I hate the fact that you’ve got to be there at 8 in the morning, I hate the fact that you don’t leave until 8 the f**king next morning. I don’t like the fact that the people who are making them think that they’re making f**king Apocalypse Now. It’s nonsense.

“Who watches videos these days? No-one. A right f**king con if you ask me.”

And the choicest cuts…

On ‘Cigarettes and Alcohol’: “The missus wouldn’t let you do a video like that now, would she? There’d be f**king uproar.”

On ‘Whatever’: “Look how pissed I am there. That’s me really pissed. Liam was furious that day because it was the one time I was more drunk than he was.”

On ‘All Around The World’: “Robbie Williams based his entire f**king career on this song. That’s what I hate about this.”
