Regardless of people's favourite genre of music or personal tastes, Massive Attack's 1998 song Teardrop is an all-time classic amongst many people and it ranks pretty highly on this JOE's list of favourite songs. The English trip-hop duo featured the song on their seminal album Mezzanine and it has since gone on to become one of the most popular songs from the last 20 years. Teardrop has been covered by a host of artists including Jose Gonzalez, Elbow and, most famously, Newton Faulkner, but this acoustic version by Candyrat Records could be our favourite cover yet .
