Gary Neville interviewed Noel Gallagher last week ahead of the Manchester derby and it made for great television.
Noel’s music may be bog standard and about 20 years past its sell-by date, but there’s no doubt that he does great stuff whenever he’s interviewed, particularly on the subject of football.
Well, after their chat had concluded, Gary asked Noel to sign his guitar. Big mistake.
“Dear Gary, how many caps have you got for England?? How many do you think you deserved?? I’ll tell you – fuckin’ none! Lots of love, Noel Gallagher, x. M.C.F.C.” he wrote.
