A street fight video, allegedly shot in Dublin city centre on New Year’s Eve, has appeared on YouTube.
We don’t know much about this video other than it was posted on YouTube late last night by a user called mrgopro150181 and purports to have been filmed on New Year’s Eve in Temple Bar.
What is for sure is that the incident took place on Parliament Street and that a few fairly nasty digs were dished out. The scrap seems to be between two groups of lads and it appears to stop and start a few times over a period of time.
Three separate clashes are shown here before the video cuts off, when hopefully everyone saw sense and went home.
We have been in touch with the uploader so as as soon as we know more we will update the story.
UPDATE: We have spoken to the uploader who confirms it was filmed at 1.55am on New Year's Eve/Jan 1 and the entire thing went on for about 10 minutes. Eventually some nearby bouncers calmed the situation down. The Gardai eventually did arrive too and spoke to a few of the lads who were still around but no action was taken.
