Tragic news.
An 18-year-old man has died following a road traffic collision on Sunday (30 January).
The collision occurred on the Newcastle Road in Castlewellan in Down shortly before 1.30am.
It involved a black Kia Sportage and the pedestrian, who has since been named as Marc Garry Quinn from the Castlewellan area.
He was treated at the scene and taken to hospital where he later died from his injuries.
