This is shocking.
Two men in the French town of Perpignan have been arrested after allegedly raping a woman and posting the incident on Snapchat and Facebook.
According to RT, who reported the story from The Local, the pair, in their 20s, took advantage of a drunken and “groggy” 19-year-old female by sexually assaulting her and filming it, in a video which lasted about five minutes.
The suspects began the clip by purchasing alcohol and eventually assaulted the woman in an apartment, after she tried to fight off her attackers.
The two men then allegedly appeared to insert a bottle into the victim after she appeared to be passed out.
When the two men posted the video on Facebook and Snapchat, horrified viewers alerted the authorities and police were able to quickly identify and capture both men.
The victim was said to be “in a state of shock” in the aftermath, but does not recall the incident itself.
