A 30-year-old man is believed to have been stabbed to death in a house in Limerick on Saturday

Tragic news from Munster this evening.

Gardaí in Newcastlewest are investigating the death of male in his 30’s in a house in the rural village of Pallaskenry, County Limerick on 30 December 2017.

Gardaí were called to the scene shortly before 5pm today when they discovered the body of a male in a house. The area was immediately sealed off for a technical examination. It’s believed that the male was stabbed several times.

The office of the State Pathologist has been notified and the body remains at the scene.
