91-year-old woman hospitalised after being hit by car, Gardaí looking for witnesses

Gardaí are investigating an incident on Saturday in which a a 91-year-old lady was hit by a car.

According to The Journal, the incident occurred Old Dublin Road, Stillorgan, Co Dublin. The woman was brought to St. Vincent’s Hospital where she remains in serious condition.

While the registration number of the driver is either unknown or has not been released, it has been reported that the woman was hit by a beige-coloured Saab.

Any witnesses to the incident are encouraged to contact the Gardaí at Blackrock Garda Station on 01- 666 5200.

A 21-year-old man also perished in Cork in a single-vehicle crash, a 50-year-old man died in Clare after colliding with a camper van. Two teenagers were also killed in a car crash in Limerick on Friday evening.
