Damn seagulls… coming over here, taking our chips and and stealing our ice-cream.
Fianna Fáil Senator Denis O’Donovan has had enough.
He reckons it’s time we talk about a culling as these birds are “endangering society.”
Integration just hasn’t worked, according to O’Donovan, and he believes that their culture clashes with our own.
He told the Seanad, “they (normally) nest on the cliffs, but they are now invading the towns and the villages.”
This comes after a Dublin woman had her phone stolen by a seagull in the Botanic Gardens yesterday. It’s unclear whether the phone has since been used for criminal activities.
O’Donavan is calling for a mass culling. It is not yet to determined how this will affect law-abiding, peace loving seagulls.
