A weird question about Irish Water in a UCC Law exam is raising a lot of eyebrows
Is this cheeky or just a coincidence?
First year Law students in UCC sat down for an exam this week and they were poised a very strange question about an Irish Water protest.
The question originally appeared on Fluich.org and it has since been discussed on Liveline all because the names of the characters in the questions rang a few bells.
Here's the question that the students were given.
Joan, Paul and Ruth are all normal names that could be inserted into an exam question, but the context of the question is Irish Water protests and that got people thinking.
When is the last time the names Paul, Ruth and Joan all appeared somewhere together?
Hang on a second...Ruth and Paul kill Joan!? Are their surnames Coppinger, Murphy and Burton? #liveline #UCCLaw

It's either a remarkable coincidence or someone in UCC is being very cheeky.
