Is it too early to start planning our summer holidays?

Admittedly, yes, it probably is.

We've got Halloween to get through first, and Christmas, too.

But screw it, we'll do it anyway. We have no shame when it comes to summer holidays.

And with news like this, how could we not?

Aer Lingus has announced two new routes to Dubrovnik and Nice from Cork Airport.

The news coincided with the inaugural Aer Lingus flight from Cork to Lisbon on Friday morning.

So if anyone from the rebel county fancies a trip to the south of France, now's your chance.

Speaking at the official announcement, Greg Kaldahl, Chief Strategy and Planning Officer at Aer Lingus said:
