Our least favourite Henry since Thierry…
Is it just us, or are storms getting a lot more common ever since we started naming the bloody things?
You may have thought that once we got over Storm Gertrude, we’d have had a clear run of storm-free weather for just a little while.
Unfortunately, that is just not true as a new storm is making its way towards Ireland called Henry, and it will hit on Monday.
The north and north-west of the will be the most affected by the storm which promises to bring strong winds and rain when it finally makes its way across the Atlantic on Monday.
According to Met Éireann, Monday will be “extremely windy across the country and possibly stormy along the north and northwest coasts, with the strong to gale force and gusty southwest winds giving some damaging gusts at times there.”
We’ll keep you updated as we learn more about this absolute b*stard…
We have named the 8th storm of the season with #StormHenry bringing strong winds and unsettled weather for Mondayhttps://t.co/HDljs8iJss
