The US Justice Department has released thousands of images and documents in the first release of the Epstein files.
It comes after US Congress voted to release the files, and gave the Justice Department a deadline of yesterday, December 19, for their release.
However, the DOJ has struggled to meet the deadline, with the BBC reporting that just 1 per cent of all files have been released so far.
Although the White House claims the release shows they are the "most transparent [administration] in history", the Democrats have criticised the failure to release all the files.
Many of the files that have been released are heavily redacted, and block out faces, as well as addresses and other blocks of text.
The DOJ says it has "erred on the side of redacting to protect victims".
Officials have suggested that thousands more files could follow this release in the coming weeks.
Among the documents released is a new image of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
Andrew had his titles stripped from him earlier this year over his links to Epstein.
The new image shows the former prince laying across the laps of five women, as convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell smiles in the background.
It appears that the photo was taken at Sandringham in the saloon room at the Norfolk royal estate, per the BBC.
The image does not imply any wrongdoing, but it is likely to put more scrutiny on the 65-year-old.

Being depicted in the files does not imply any wrongdoing, and all of the photos are given without details on context, time or place.
