Homenews

Make sure to check with your airline for information before travelling.

A significant number of flights between Ireland and the UK have been cancelled on Thursday due to bad weather here and across the water. Storm Doris battered Ireland with strong winds and heavy rain on Thursday and the situation isn’t much better in the UK either, with several flights in and out of Irish airports affected as a result. Aer Lingus served notice of the cancellation of 12 flights on Thursday, with Dublin/London Heathrow, Cork/London Heathrow, Dublin/Bristol, Dublin/Birmingham and Cork/Birmingham all affected. Aer Lingus customers can change or cancel their bookings online or over the phone. https://twitter.com/AerLingus/status/834468653366132737 With the bad weather set to last until early on Thursday afternoon, it’s worth checking with your airline to check the status if you are flying at any stage throughout the day. https://twitter.com/DublinAirport/status/834643022121988096
