Barry Keoghan calls Mayo location a ‘magical place’ on recent podcast

The Dublin actor mentioned the Mayo area while chatting on James Cordon's podcast 'This Life Of Mine'.

Appearing on Cordon's 'This Life Of Mine' podcast, the Dublin actor highlighted the beauty of Achill Island.

Speaking about his time in Achill while filming 'The Banshees of Inisherin', calling the shoot a 'turning point' for him.

"I got to live with Colin Farrell, done his absolute head in," continued Keoghan.

“I didn’t have a sense of time. I’m going to say, selfishly, I felt like it was the only place that existed at that time and I think that is a credit to the island and what it holds.

“I was just so present,” he added.

Keoghan starred alongside Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson in the 2022 acclaimed film.
