Gardaí investigating after skeletal remains discovered in Wexford

The discovery was made on Monday morning.

Gardaí are investigating the discovery of skeletal remains at Ballyandrew, near Ferns, in Wexford.

The remains were found shortly after 11.30am on Monday by a passing pedestrian.

The scene has been preserved pending the arrival of a State Pathologist.

Gardaí at Enniscorthy are leading the investigation and no further information is available at this time.
