Gardaí have issued an update on the incident.

Gardaí are investigating the death of a 32-year-old man on Carrauntoohill on Monday, 14 May. The man, a Canadian national, had been travelling with his wife when he suffered a fall on the mountain in poor weather conditions around 3pm. The body of the man was later recovered by a mountain rescue team and he was pronounced dead at he scene. A post-mortem examination will take place today at Tralee General Hospital.
