Gardaí have launched an investigation following the discovery of a man’s body in Clare on Friday morning (7 January).
The body of the man in his 70s was found at a domestic residence in Lisdoonvarna.
A statement from An Garda Síochána notes that the body was discovered in unexplained circumstances.
At the time of writing on Friday afternoon, the scene is currently preserved and a technical examination is to be carried out by the Garda Technical Bureau.
The office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
